YOU ARE TALKING TO A TALENTIME CHAMPION.

Yes we have upgraded from being finalists to champions after today's take5, hurray hurray. Been a fun journey dotted with late nights and -rather- intense practices but it paid off. Got to know the bandmates better as friends and now we're just happy we won. But the other bands did a great job too we probably won 'cos we were entertaining and stuff I guess.

Funny that I didn't anticipate this year's take5 at all unlike last year during J1, cos i wasn't doing anything so it was like oh nice, one day off from school let's go faster come! But now with all the stuff that happened in the week it's just been a blur and i'm glad it's all over.

Kudos to my MR dota team for our win in ihc cybergaming - everyone played very well and we made few mistakes, although we can blame junyi for screwing up heh. Wasn't feeling very confident because I'm not really that good at dota anymore, being un-updated with all the competitions, the league teams, the real professional playing and stuff which is what the dota guys are into now. So I just go into games and listen to them and do what they tell me to. But we displayed great teamwork during IHC and managed to beat BB, moving on to the finals where we played the giants BW. Things didn't seem all that rosy from the start because their lineup was a solid one, but we were on form and managed to control the game from the early to middle stage. Thereafter we made a few mistakes by trying to end the game fast, but the climax came when the teacher came in to announce that we had 5 minutes left. As MR was leading in everything by a clear margin, but BW had the potential to beat us if we clashed, we changed our strategy to turtling in the base for the last 5 minutes, and BW was undecided on what to do. The match ended with a joint win for MR and BW, because although MR technically should have won due to our having the upper hand in everything, BW had the potential to beat us and had already done so a few times in the game.

Yep so a pretty exciting week.

Sorry for the downhearted tone, Life's got me worn down. Feeling especially beaten after an (ironically) exhausting nap on the train from pasir ris, iPodding with Empty on repeat.

Empty pretty much sums up the way i'm feeling.

Because that's what people do. They leap, and hope to God they can fly, because otherwise you just drop like a rock, wondering the whole way down, why in the hell did I jump? But here I am. Fallen. And the only one that makes me feel like I can fly... is
