Where to start? This place has been gathering dust for so long and so many events have transpired since I last adorned the page with words.Posted at: 5:42 AM Well I guess a major event was the class chalet that took place from monday to tuesday. It was actually really fun and all, even though some people couldn't make it for various reasons. A highlight was actually us going to the playground before even booking in, and there fungs and I managed to make ourselves feel queasy for like an hour or so thanks to the whirligig thingy that you sit on and spin on which cannot be stopped until someone stops you. I spun for like 2 minutes or something (seems little when talking about it, but is actually an eternity when youre actually on it, feeling your brain spiral out of control). On the second time, as a challenge, I heeded my classmates' 'words of advice' and stood up immediately after spinning. Or rather, tried to stand up. I immediately collapsed and they had to help me up, after which I walked around in a daze haha. Forgot to mention, it rained heavily the night before (and the wee hours of the morning as well) so the whirligig area was waterlogged, along with the swings. Which meant that I collapsed into water. Below the swings was this gigantic pool of water but we hecked it and swang anyway, wading into the water barefoot. I had the amazing presence of mind to leave my wallet in my pocket, and it fell out into the water, soaking all its ocntents =( Yeah after that fungs and I were like on the verge of vomiting (it was a feeling you get but you wont actually vomit), and it was actually quite horrible haha even though it was fun. Yupp after that booked in, mucked around abit then went to the park to play games. Once again thanks to the rain, it was muddy everywhere and we ended up playing captain's ball and soccer in like muddy fields. The mud was like thick and gooey and watery in some parts, and we sploshed around till our feet were covered in it. The wiser girls (who can also be called the less daring girls) decided to sit this activity out while syimah and sharyn went straight into it with more gusto than I displayed. Yes, i'm sorry, but having mud ooze between your toes constantly isn't exactly a pleasant feeling. Still fun though. =) After that more people started to troop in and we began the barbeque, where the scouts and boy's brigade boy combined their skills and got it going. The rest of the night was filled with eating and singing songs, with me vehemently trying to convince the rest of the chalet that we were not from RJC. Yup so that's the chalet. In other news, I got a new iPod classic which is a refreshing change from all the pathetic Creative players that I used to have. So in a sense I should thank my brother for losing my (or rather, my mum's that she didn't use) Zen Micro in camp, giving me a reason to get a new one. Having an 80gig storage drive doesnt hurt as well, as demonstrated when I reformatted my comp to try and fix my ABSOLUTLELY PINK-TIGHTS-WEARING GAY WARCRAFT 3 PROBLEM. Which has caused me to not mercilessly slaughter random newbs in the river between top lane and bottom lane, or build a schmecksy array of towers to wtfPWN the titan and courageously steal gold from him, for like half a year. But woe is me, after the recent reformat (where i lost next to nothing 'cos of aforementioned storage device), the problem PERSISTS. Well i'm not some C++ whiz adept in fixing glitches like this so I don't know I might like throw my computer away or something. After yesterday's ea meeting which was hilarious and entertaining, we decided where to go so I went down to bugis today with kovan miejue and nats to reckey/recce/recky/reccee/howeveryouspellit. Disoovered certain places of bugis that are quirky and interesting, and which I've never EVER set foot upon before. Interesting. Singapore's so freaking small, a miniscule dot on the globe and yet there are places that I've never been to. Wonder what it'd be like to explore the whole of the USA. Yeah this all sounds rather bright and cheery but I can assure you life is not a bed of roses, for me at least. In fact it is currently hovering around the level of 'doom'. In the words of ivan, 'life is tough.' In the words of bengsum, 'life is damn tough.' Luckily I have roughly about 850 songs of which a great number are emo to tide me through. Yes bright and cheery songs about happy couples and feeling good na na na na na na na are not exactly suitable when your heart is suffering affronts from all fronts on nearly a daily basis. In the further words of bengsum, OH WELL.And yes it means that I have not much left to say already. I need to go shopping. |
