Tuesday morning
I remember stormy weather
The way the sky looks when it's cold
And you were with me
Content with walking
So unaware of the world

Walking on air

why is it that men have to wait until something bad happens to their other half, or they become pregnant, then they start showing extra special care towards them?

if you truly love someone enough, shouldn't every thing you do for them have that extra effort behind it, and not only because something's happened to them or they need the special care for some 'solid' reason. There shouldn't be any reason required for you to shower your girl with affection.

it's a sad day in the life of a woman if she marries a man who doesn't know how to take proper care of her, regardless of her current state of health. It is hardly a wonder then, that many relationships end up as failures and divorces are so rampant nowadays. Why go through all the trouble, the preparations, the emotional breakdowns and unnecessary pain if you didn't love the person in the first place.

Humans are witless creatures more often than not; some say we act based on our feelings rather than rational thought, others subscribe to the opposite view. But both aren't accurate are they, 'cos if we acted on feelings most of the time then we shouldn't be doing these kind of heartbreaking actions, and if we acted on rational thought we would stop to consider the possible consequences behind each and every action. Evidently we're just stuck in the middle somewhere, blundering along some meandering course of action that does not stand to reason at all.

More often than not we come crawling back whenever we claim that 'we're finished with you' or 'we wash our hands of the affair'. Clingy, unwilling to let go, we all want our second chances and second shots. Spare a thought then, for those that have no more chances and it's all too late as the curtain closes.

And sometimes all you want to do is just ignore the world around you and the clueless denouncers, and feel the warmth as two bodies entwine in an enveloping hug. But sometimes you don't really know what you want at all, maybe confusion isn't such a good state of mind to remain in
