what is it about a co-ed school that makes the rumours and gossip, and the thirst for juicy scandals and hot-off-the-grill topics so desirable and, dare i say it, fun to talk about? Maybe it's the fact that 45% of the guys and 45% of the girls in RJ are from RI and RG respectively, where even in those non-mixed schools there've been rumours of boyfriendsandgirlfriends and whatnot already. so once we all gather together in this great bunch of ours, any rumours and sights of 'interesting' things burst out in an unbridled sphere of consuming flame. or maybe it's because we're all not used to seeing our friends who've been palling around with us for all this time getting to know friends of the opposite sex and hanging around them, 'cos ya know, it's just unnatural.

It's scandalous for a girl to have a close guy friend, unless of course they're right out into the open and declared themselves as a couple, in which case the opposite happens, they might be subjected to some teasing and all but most of the time others respect the couples' privacy. for example er-hmm er-hmm some of my friends with whom I know when to toe the line and give them the respect that we should. Of course once in a while you come across the buffoon and the idiot who doesn't know his limits and keeps on teasing, but these people are really not worth bothering about much imo.

so yeah sometimes gossip and rumours might be interesting to listen to if they're all objective, but if they're malicious or even sometimes if they're not, they might have certain consequences on the friendships, or whatever, i dunno.

yesterday was nearly an entire day spent at school. was there from like 9 am for physics, then went out with the class for lunch, then back to school for econs, then another few hours of history mugging where nick and fungs where being total idiots. -.- after that came home to nap for 2 hours 'cos of the sleepiness, just in time for the EVEN VS ODD match where we got our asses kicked. But in the rm after that we won 'cos huanbin pulledplug (cos his parents came home, we think).

now it's time for mindless history mugging, then later going off to ken's house. yeah fun. meeting chinks for dinner i think. cya.
