Tuesday morning
I remember stormy weather
The way the sky looks when it's cold
And you were with me
Content with walking
So unaware of the world

hi its been nearly a week since the last post.

hrmm well addressing first things first, gp common test is over. was rather stupid of me to watch spiderman2 on dvd at home while eating breakfast after sleeping for 11 hours. completely underestimated the time and reached there only 2-5 mins before time, way less than the 15 mins I planned beforehand haha. after keeping all my things in the locker and going into the exam room, zixin mel yijing and I realised that we needed our ez-links. so we ran back to get them and ran back to the place, panting and sweating like nuts. then the pro teacher had to make our day and announce 'some of you didn't bring your ez-link. it's ok.' wth make us so uncomfortable for nothing.

so yea some interesting topics dished out to us for the essay and I chose the one on prejudice. Dont think my essay was very good though, didn't write alot. But the compre was rather easy so yeah hopefully can get an A la. After that I made the loyal decision to go support rugby finals and it was an exciting match indeed. Although once again it killed alot of people's voices hahaha. and on thursday I was feeling lazy 'cos kallang's so far away but I went to support yijing at soccer finals anyway. And I have to say it was worth it to see my friends playing at the match (junliang,si en, yijing) and to cheer them on =D

oh and how could i forget? JUNE HOLIDAYS ARE HERE =) but this year the hols are going to be very different ... tons of studying to do since i'm not really the consistent kind and also theres all the pw things to accomplish. to think that last time in RI, after the CTs our june hols would be one month of pure bliss and slacking, with at least 5 hours of com games a day. Now I think it's probably the same way, but switching com games to studying. Sighhh oh well the price to pay for acceptable results I guess. Although most j1s screw up their CTs (according to a reliable source) I dont want to 'cos it'd mean extra effort for promos seeing as our CTs are COUNTED.

but I dunno I guess I have it better than some of my friends who are gonna be involved in alot of school stuff, especially the councilors and ccals and whatever. I guess thats what decisions are all about, and thats how life is. Whenever you're at a crossroads of decisions and you have to choose between them, your life will take a major swerve in orientation even if you think that this decision isn't really all that big. Life's funny that way. It can be your best friend or it can be a dagger in your butt. You never know what might have happened if you had made a decision different from what you have actually chosen. Whether or not you'd be as close to certain people as you are now. Whether or not you would have enjoyed your life as much. Whether or not it would affect your future, no matter positively or negatively. And regrets are part and parcel of life, and are a direct consequence of heading the wrong direction when you're at that crucial crossroads. Sad to say, I've headed in the wrong direction so many times that I'm rather hopelessly lost now. But there are always the friendly faces with the machetes to slice away those binding tendrils that keep me in my confused state. Even if its for awhile. Before those tendrils start growing again.

And when you look back at those carefree days, right back to the time when you stepped into that school and into that classroom... the sheer impact of this overwhelming reminiscence makes you pine for those times and want nothing than to be able to go through them again, perhaps altering and tweaking a few of the wrong decisions you made but still reliving those wonderful memories.

But no one's found a way to defy those laws of physics just yet.
