Tuesday morning
I remember stormy weather
The way the sky looks when it's cold
And you were with me
Content with walking
So unaware of the world

Walking on air

Conundrum

How is it that something which gives us happiness and brings a smile to our face, can have the utmost potential to bring our whole world crashing down? We sacrifice certain things, aim to make ourselves a better person, change all our faults, make mental notes in our heads. We set goals for the future, start watching details we've never bothered about before, and we try to cause them to see us in a better light, in a light that makes us appear worthy to be even gazed on by them.

But the things they do and how their minds work, that is rather hard to understand, no?

I'm sorry. But how can I not say anything when my friend has been hurt and feels so down by something that he had no fault in? As some people say, he might have 'been in the wrong place, at the wrong time'. Or rather in this case, did the wrong thing at the wrong time. Still, in my eyes his deed wasn't bad at all. It was in fact totally acceptable and didn't mean anything. But still it was misinterpreted. By a person who'd been hurt badly before.

I guess in the name of love, anything can be done. One is willing to strip himself down to his bare soul, in an effort to be recognized but often, so often it is so hard. So very, very hard. And all we are left with is a feeling of emptiness and regret, and a misplaced feeling of guilt that it is indeed our fault.

Sympathies for you, dude.
