ComebacksPosted at: 3:56 AM Today I shall be doing a post on comebacks. Why are comebacks important in the highly-competitive, intellectual, firey society of RI? (express only, and about 30% of GEPs) [I reserve the right to be biased] Because if you don't have a good comeback, you will get totally owned by people who insult you. Yea that's basically the reason why. And it's all for fun and all, since no one really rips on each other seriously. For the uninitiated, to rip on someone is to insult that person in jest; or a lighthearted manner. Definition provided by yours truly. So here are some of the classic comebacks used by our class! Jiwei (the "king" of comebacks) - 1) No no no! 2) Plees (please)! 3) I think you're talking about yourself yea? 4) Still better than you! 5) Shut up! 6) Wah funny ah hah, comedian ah! Nah! Su Jun - Nehh!! Grrr! (like a dog growls) No boy. Jian Hui - 1) Wah, (person) what you say ah? (topic) ah huh? Funny ah (person)? Funny issit? LAME AH! 2) You're worse than a (whatever) ah! 3) You suck ah! 4) I suck! Jun Jie (to Jian Hui) - Do you think a dog is handsome?
