I remember stormy weather
The way the sky looks when it's cold
And you were with me
Content with walking
So unaware of the world

Worries, Concerns and ...
As the year draws to a starlingly fast close there are so many worries and concerns to think about. The main one would of course be the CTs. Everyone's in the mugging spirit now, and it's starting to take a toll on me as I start to think about what grades I wanna get and stuff. It's just so pressurising to study for all the stuff we gotta do even though we don't have O levels.

And other concerns fill my heart as well. Stuff unrelated to school, but to me take up so much more importance but I can't write here to keep the privacy for myself and other people.

How scared are RI boys to lose out. Today was a prime example of the frightening degree it is at. 600 word limit, 50 minute essay turned out to be a 1000 word document, 1 hour 15 minutes long assignment rather than an assessment. And the irony is that many of those who finished later were those who actually prepared beforehand. Okay I understand if you prepared beforehand you have more stuff to write. But

1) you prepare beforehand, get better grades for this, so what? You're not allowed to prepare before CTs so good luck to you

2) maybe you don't even need to prepare beforehand. What a good gauge it is of your thinking skills, ability to cope with time limits and how well you formulate thoughts and organizations if you prepare notes beforehand

3) you wanna get more info down fine. WRITE FASTER. If our English teacher was say, Joseph Wong, you'd definitely lose out at least 10% of your points at the rate you guys are going. Just thank your stars that for assessments such as these you have Tang who states word and time limits but doesn't have the rigor to STOP you when it's time to STOP.

4) a great example of the mastercard/visa/whatever ad. What you think ah, if you write more words, you get more points, more words, more points? Yea obviously you are going for quantity not quality. If you try to inject quality into your immense quality, okay you might get higher marks than the rest since it's Tang and not a strict teacher. But well done, you're only getting higher because you indirectly CHEATED. Yes you cheated by writing more than the amount of words allowed and taking more than the normal time allowed. Basically it's like doing an exam paper so meticulously, taking 3 hours in the process, and not getting penalized for it.

Hopefully you all will get pretty high marks, at least an 80% grade for this essay. If not it'd be such a joke.
